These terms cover your use of the Roshni ka Safar website and app. By using them, you agree to what’s below. Please read the Privacy Policy too.

Using the app

Roshni ka Safar lets you read the Qur’an with translation, listen to recitation, take family quizzes, and; with a free account; save your progress and share reflections. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial reading and study.

Your account

• Keep your password private; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your email up to date so we can reach you.
• You can delete your account at any time; see Account & Data Deletion.

Community reflections

Reflections you post are visible to other readers. When posting, please:

• be respectful and keep the spirit of the Qur’an and the community;
• don’t post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or spam content, or anyone’s private information;
• only post content you have the right to share.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every reflection has a Report option, and you can Block any reader so you no longer see their posts. Reported content is hidden and reviewed, and we aim to remove objectionable content and remove the readers who post it within 24 hours. We may hide or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these rules. To report content or a user directly, email imatifdar@gmail.com.

Roshni ka Safar Pro (subscription)

Reading all 556 rukus stays free. Roshni ka Safar Pro adds deeper study tools, with a free portion available for each Pro feature. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through in-app purchase in the mobile app.

• Plans and pricing: Pro Monthly is US$2.99 per month and Pro Yearly is US$19.99 per year. Prices may vary by country or region. The price, currency and billing period displayed on the purchase screen apply to your purchase.
• Payment: payment is charged to the store account used to confirm your purchase. For purchases made through the App Store, payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. For App Store subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the applicable renewal price.
• Manage or cancel: manage your subscription through the store account used to purchase it. For App Store subscriptions, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Roshni ka Safar. Cancelling stops future renewal; Pro access continues until the end of the paid subscription period.
• Account and access: sign in to your Roshni ka Safar account when purchasing Pro. Pro access is linked to that account and is available on supported devices and this website when you sign in with the same account, subject to the device limit below.
• Restore purchases: use “Restore purchases” on the app's paywall if you reinstall the app or change devices. Use the store account associated with the original purchase and sign in to your Roshni ka Safar account.
• Devices: one account can be signed in on up to 3 devices at a time (phones, tablets and browsers). Signing in on another device signs out the one used least recently. Pro is for your personal use on your own devices; please do not share your account.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled by the store that processed your purchase, subject to its policies and applicable law. For App Store purchases, request a refund through Apple.

Content & intellectual property

The Qur’anic text is sacred and freely readable. The translations, illustrations, written summaries, quizzes and design in Roshni ka Safar are our work and are provided for your personal use; please don’t copy or redistribute them commercially without our permission.

Availability & changes

We work to keep the service running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows the current version.
