These terms cover your use of the Roshni ka Safar website and app. By using them, you agree to what’s below. Please read the Privacy Policy too.
Using the app
Roshni ka Safar lets you read the Qur’an with translation, listen to recitation, take family quizzes, and — with a free account — save your progress and share reflections. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial reading and study.
Your account
- Keep your password private; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep your email up to date so we can reach you.
- You can delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.
Community reflections
Reflections you post are visible to other readers. When posting, please:
- be respectful and keep the spirit of the Qur’an and the community;
- don’t post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or spam content, or anyone’s private information;
- only post content you have the right to share.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every reflection has a Report option, and you can Block any reader so you no longer see their posts. Reported content is hidden and reviewed, and we aim to remove objectionable content and remove the readers who post it within 24 hours. We may hide or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these rules. To report content or a user directly, email imatifdar@gmail.com.
Purchases
Some features may be unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. Refunds and billing are handled under Google Play’s terms.
Content & intellectual property
The Qur’anic text is sacred and freely readable. The translations, illustrations, written summaries, quizzes and design in Roshni ka Safar are our work and are provided for your personal use; please don’t copy or redistribute them commercially without our permission.
Availability & changes
We work to keep the service running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows the current version.
